Dr. Bohn’s Research

Forest Ecology and Silviculture

Research Interests

My research interests focus on the effects of silvicultural treatments and other forest management practices on forest ecosystem structure, composition, and productivity. Other areas of interest include uneven-aged silviculture, invasive species management, and ecosystem modeling. I work in a variety forest types, including longleaf pine ecosystems, mixed pine-hardwood forests, bottomland systems, and wetlands.
