Biography

Dr. Kimberly Bohn joined the University of Florida in July 2006. Dr. Bohn received her M.S. in 2001 and Ph.D. in 2005 from the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Her research focused on effects of uneven-aged silviculture on regeneration, species composition, and sawtimber production in northern hardwoods. She taught Forest Ecology as a Visiting Instructor at SUNY-ESF in 2005 and was a Teaching Assistant in Ecology and Silviculture classes prior to that. She began her forestry career with an internship through the Student Conservation Association at the USDA Forest Service Northeastern Research Station.
