Biography
After receiving his Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Dr. Barry Brecke served his country in the U.S. Army. He then decided to return to his pursuit of education which took him to Cornell University in New York. While at Cornell he earned his Master’s immediately followed by a Ph.D., both in the field of agronomy-weed science. Upon completion of his doctorate in 1976, he took a position with the University of Florida where he has found much success over the last 25+ years as a decorated weed scientist.
