FOMG Mission

  • To create a greater awareness and appreciation of The Milton Gardens and encourage the use of The Milton Gardens as a public garden to promote a better neighborhood and community.
  • To administer the Richard K. Schoellhorn Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships to students of the Environmental Horticulture programs on the Milton Campus of the University of Florida.
  • To expand the role of The Milton Gardens to foster research and provide Horticultural Education Programs through partnerships with schools, community organizations, and the horticulture industry.
  • To provide operational funds for implementation of research, community outreach, and educational programs of The Milton Gardens by soliciting gifts, bequests, grant funds, volunteer time, equipment, materials, services, and art.
